Biskyrmion-based artificial neuron

چکیده

Magnetic skyrmions are nanoscale magnetic whirls that highly stable and can be moved by currents which has led to the prediction of a skyrmion-based artificial neuron device with leak-integrate-fire functionality. However, so far, these devices lack refractory process, estimated crucial for neuronal dynamics. Here we demonstrate biskyrmion-based overcomes this insufficiency. When driven spin-orbit torques, single biskyrmion splits into two subskyrmions move towards designated location detected electrically, resembling excitation process fires ultimately. The attractive interaction leads unique trajectory: Once they reach detector area, automatically return center reform but on different path. During reset period, cannot fire again. Our suggested resembles biological leak, integrate, characteristics better than all existing far.

Artificial Neuron-Glia Networks Learning Approach Based on Cooperative Coevolution

Artificial Neuron-Glia Networks (ANGNs) are a novel bio-inspired machine learning approach. They extend classical Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) by incorporating recent findings and suppositions about the way information is processed by neural and astrocytic networks in the most evolved living organisms. Although ANGNs are not a consolidated method, their performance against the traditional ...

An Artificial Neuron with Quantum Mechanical Properties

Quantum computation uses microscopic quantum level effects to perform computational tasks and has produced results that in some cases are exponentially faster than their classical counterparts. Choosing the best weights for a neural network is a time consuming problem that makes the harnessing of this “quantum parallelism” appealing. This paper briefly covers necessary high-level quantum theory...

Solving Mazes using an Artificial Developmental Neuron

An agent controlled by a single computational neuron is used to solve maze problems. The neuron has activity and timedependent computational and topological structure. The behaviour of a neuron is controlled by a collection of seven evolved programs that are loosely analogous to aspects of biological neuron (dendrites, soma, axons, synapses, electrical and developmental behaviour). The programs...

Duty Cycle Maintenance in an Artificial Neuron

Neuroprosthetics is at the intersection of neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and physics. A biocompatible neuroprosthesis contains artificial neurons exhibiting biophysically plausible dynamics. Hybrid systems analysis could be used to prototype such artificial neurons. Biohybrid systems are composed of artificial and living neurons coupled via real-time computing and dynamic clamp. Model n...

Modeling environmental indicators for land leveling, using Artificial Neural Networks and Adaptive Neuron-Fuzzy Inference System

Land leveling is one of the most important steps in soil preparation and cultivation. Although land leveling with machines requires considerable amount of energy, it delivers a suitable surface slope with minimal soil deterioration as well as damage to plants and other organisms in the soil. Notwithstanding, in recent years researchers have tried to reduce fossil fuel consumption and its delete...
